What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy which focuses on whole body health. Osteopaths understand the important link between the structure of the body as well as the way it functions, and utilise this knowledge of how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves and connective tissues integrate as a holistic unit to provide optimal treatment outcomes.

Focusing on You

During each appointment, your practitioner will incorporate skilled assessment, diagnostic and hands-on treatment techniques, that not only target the problematic area but also other related parts of the body, to achieve whole body alignment and function.

Specialised Approach

Osteopathic treatment is non-invasive, gentle and safe and utilises a range of techniques, including direct techniques like stretching, manipulation and massage as well as indirect techniques to decrease tension in the connective tissues of the body.

With this holistic approach being a core foundation of each consult, osteopathy is an ideal treatment for those of all ages.
